Use of CytoSorb in a patient with COVID-19 and acute hypoxic respiratory failure

This case reports on a 53-year-old female patient who was transferred from the isolation ward to the Medical Intensive Care Unit due to progressive respiratory deterioration in the context of a SARS-CoV-2 infection with viral pneumonia.
