Methemoglobinemia is a rare blood disorder that can have severe consequences if not promptly diagnosed and treated. In this article, we will explore a real-life case study of a patient who developed methemoglobinemia while undergoing Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) therapy.
We will discuss the symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of this condition, highlighting the importance of vigilance and medical expertise in managing such cases.
