Use of CytoSorb in a patient with severe COVID-19 pneumonia with bacterial superinfection and septic shock

This case reports on a 63-year-old male patient (pre-existing conditions: arterial hypertension, obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus) who was transferred from the normal ward to the medical intensive care unit due to respiratory insufficiency with suspected COVID-19 pneumonia.
