Use of CytoSorb in a patient with endocarditis of the aortic valve with an abscess in the area of the left atrial appendage and endocarditis of the native mitral valve

This case reports on a 54-year-old female patient who initially presented to the Emergency Department
of a peripheral hospital with dyspnea and reduced general condition. Following temporary inpatient
admission and diagnosis of aortic valve endocarditis, she was subsequently transferred to the Cardiovascular Centre of the Albertinen Hospital for surgical treatment.
