This report describes the case of a 73-year-old male patient (known pre-existing conditions: bilateral peripheral vascular disease grade 2b, hypercholesterolemia with long-term simvastatin medication) who was admitted to the Emergency Department with signs of marked weakness and hypersensitivity in his legs.
