All patients with Aortic valve replacement (AVR) are appropriate for the Right Anterior miniThoracotomy. Different exposure maneuvers are required.

For the valve debridement we use 3 commissure sutures. With this exposure maneuver you can bring any valve closer to the wound without any special instruments.Other exposure maneuvers will be shown in other videos.

Thanks to Dr. Lamelas technique we switched to minithoracotomy from partial sternotomy, as routine approach for AVR.
