Interdisciplinary and varied
The B.Sc. Cardiovascular Perfusion degree programme is aimed at nurses and nurses, surgical assistants or persons in comparable medical assistant professions who would like to qualify as a cardiotechnician. Cardiotechnics is an interdisciplinary profession in the surgical care of cardiac and vascular surgery patients.
Study
The B.Sc. Cardiovascular Perfusion program begins annually on April 1.
We offer the three-year Bachelor of Science in Cardiovascular Perfusion in cooperation with Steinbeis University Berlin. In the course of study, interdisciplinary qualifications are imparted and medical training is deepened.
The lectures take place in 14-day theory blocks. In addition to the lectures, students acquire topics in self-study units. The structure of the theoretical and practical parts enables students to pursue part-time employment.
Admission requirements
- Abitur or Fachhochschulreife with at least two years of professional experience
- Secondary school leaving certificate with at least three years of professional experience
- Successfully completed training as a nurse, surgical assistant or comparable medical training
- Aptitude interview
