MIECC Training Course

Minimally invasive extra-corporeal circulation (MIECC) systems have been developed to reduce the inflammatory response by removing the venous reservoir, using smaller priming volumes and reducing the interface between the blood and synthetic components.
The training will Offer participants advanced education on MIECC with hands on session.

IN DEPTH DESCRIPTION

The course is specifically designed for Perfusionist.
Training includes presentations and discussion on MIECC principle, definition, application and benefits in cardiac surgery.

The participants will have also the chance to learn more on inflammatory response in Cardiac surgery and on the impact of hemodiluition.
The course will offer a practical session and animal life case and the participant will have the chance to explore different clinical
scenario.

DURATION: This is a one day training program.
