Here you can see an amazing case of double valve endocarditis, involving the tricuspid and mitral valves.

Infective endocarditis is diagnosed with Duke criteria, requiring 2 major criteria, 1 major and 3 minor or 5 minor criteria to confirm the diagnosis. Ultrasound evidence or cardiac murmur is one of the 2 major criteria and the other one is positive blood cultures.
