Early mobilization is one of the most widely endorsed ICU practices. We repeat it daily: \u201cMobilize early. Mobilize often.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

But what if that guidance is too<\/em> simple?<\/p>\n

This new secondary analysis of the landmark TEAM trial challenges one of the core assumptions in ICU rehabilitation:<\/p>\n

Not all ventilated patients benefit equally from early mobilization \u2014 and some may benefit much less than expected.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This analysis shifts the conversation from \u201cShould we mobilize?\u201d to \u201cWho benefits most, and who benefits least?\u201d<\/strong> A critical nuance for ICU teams trying to personalize care, optimize staffing, and reduce overgeneralization.<\/p>\n
